F.A.Q.

How long should my water heater last?

Water heaters should be flushed once a year and replaced every 8-10 years.  Every system is different but that's a good general rule.

What should I know about my toilet?

Toilet flappers need to be changed every 5 years and the entire unit should be replaced every 25 years.

When is it time to replace my garbage disposal unit?

Generally a garbage disposal unit should last between 10 and 12 years.

How long should my kitchen and bathroom faucets last?

Faucets all look similar but are vastly different.  A low cost faucet should last between 5 and 8 years while a high end faucet should last 30 years or more if maintained properly.

Is a recirculating pump right for my house?

Recirculating pumps are a nice way to get instant hot water but they aren't right for every house.  If you have one they need to be replaced every 10 years.  Please call to discuss your requirements.

I have issues that don't really fall under plumbing, can you help?

Sure we can.  Our plumbers carry steam cleaners for grout and tile cleaning.  They carry caulking to give your seals a fresh look and they all carry water purity testers so you know what you're drinking.
